What is a .fomo name?
A .fomo name is a permanent trader identity that resolves to your Solana wallet. It is made to be shared in your FOMO bio, feed, callouts and everywhere the family knows you.
How does this fit fomo.family?
fomo.family is where you trade. A .fomo name gives that activity a memorable handle you can put in your bio and callouts, with a public profile anyone can open.
Does my name expire?
No. Registration is a single 0.1 SOL payment. There are no renewals and no expiry — the name stays with your wallet until you transfer or sell it.
Where does the 0.1 SOL go?
To the public registry treasury, which swaps it into $.FOMO through Jupiter right after your name is confirmed. The coins stay in that wallet and every buy is a public transaction.
Why are some names held?
Names of well-known traders — the top of the fomo.family leaderboard, plus kolscan regulars like cupsey and cented — are held so nobody can impersonate them. Each one can only be registered by that trader’s public trading wallet; names whose wallet is not verified yet stay closed to everyone.
What network is live?
Solana mainnet. Every registration and sale is a real mainnet transaction that the server verifies before writing the registry record.
Are .fomo names NFTs?
No. They are records in an independent registry. The Solana transaction is the payment proof; ownership changes require a signature from the current owner wallet.
Is this part of fomo.family?
No. .fomo is an independent community project, not affiliated with or endorsed by FOMO Labs.
Can I link my fomo.family account?
